Reindeer Standard Hide

Reindeer hide is one of natures great insulators, with its hollow fibre hair it will keep you warm for much longer than other types of hides or therma-rests and what ever they are all called. They are also beautiful on the wall or as a throw on your bed or sofa. They differ a bit in size from 4 to 5 feet in length and about 2.5 to 3.5 foot wide. The colouring of the hides differs from almost white to very dark brown, you can choose whatever you prefer, subject to availability.

The standard hide - has been tanned, so it will not start smelling like non-tanned hides. However, this version should be kept dry at all times otherwise it may start shedding its hair. This version is ideal for ornamental purposes, like a fireside rug, a throw on your bed or as a wall ornament.

If you have the hide on the floor, make sure that you put something under it, like a non-slip net. The reason for this is not mainly because of the risk of slipping but to prevent condensation forming under the hide.
