Details

The Lundhags Tjakke Mid is a completely new boot to the Lundhags family. It is a technical all-round boot which shares many of the same characteristics of the advanced models but with an added focus on comfort, which makes it perfect for long days out on the hills in tough terrain.

The lower part of the Tjakke boot features the new Certech® Exp-technology, a durable but light material making the Tjakke great at handling tough terrain without waiving on comfort. The boot also features the new Beta Pro insole with Heel Fit Control (HFC™) to ensure excellent support and shock absorption. The boot provides a powerful grip without being too heavy thanks to the Light Vibram® Circumba outer sole. The total weight of the boot is considerably lighter than other advance models at only 672g. Other features include a cushioning shaft made from Perwanger® Split Leather with Ariaprene padding and a new heel wedge in stock absorbing Polyurethane.

As all Lundhags boots at Nordic Outdoor, these boots are meant to be worn with two pairs of socks. The socks act as the lining of the boot, the idea being that there is nothing in the boot itself that holds water. That means that if you get the boot wet, you can simply change your socks and give the boot a wipe and you have a dry boot. Using two pairs of socks also mean that you can adjust the "lining" of the boot according to the outside temperature and activity.
