Didriksons Womens Ceres Parka 2
The Ceres Parka is the parka you want when the winter really settles in. Both windproof and waterproof with taped seams for extra protection. This parka has quilted insulating channels both horizontal and vertical to insolate the heat effectively. You can carry the parka on the back when you are to warm thanks to the detachable suspenders inside.
The front pockets closes with magnets and seven pockets that close with zippers. The hem, waist, cuffs and hood can all be adjusted as needed. Ribbed inner cuffs with thumbholes. Reflective details include, the Didriksons name and logo, strap in front pocket and the zip pulls. The insulation is made of recycled fibres and the lining has been dyed using Solution Dye, a dye technique that saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed polyester/polyamide fabric.
Didriksons was born in 1913 with a clear purpose: to save the lives of fishermen working in harsh conditions. Today, with more than a century of experience, they still make waterproof and windproof jackets with the same ethos.
Didriksons believe in creating products that will last for a long time. They achieve this by means of timeless design, careful choice of colours, long-term relationships with customers and producers, environmental protection programmes and sustainability projects to help them constantly develop and improve. Didriksons use sustainable materials and dyeing processes and PFC-free impregnation treatments. Since 2018 several of our waterproof garments have been made from recyclable polyester. We promote the use of single component rather than mixed materials in order to facilitate future recycling processes.
Polyester can be recycled endlessly in a circular recycling system without lowering the quality. By offering both recycled and recyclable products, they have come close to the goal of offering maximum experiences with minimal environmental impact. Production of polyester, especially recycled polyester, require less water to produce than many other fibres.
