The Est 1960 Cap is your perfect companion for outdoor life and around town. It is made from the durable G-1000 Eco which can be treated with Greenland wax to adjust its water resistance. The cap size is adjustable with a metal clasp at the back. and it has stitched ventilation holes for optimal breathability.
G-1000 Eco is the fabric used for the Est 1960 Cap. It is part recycled polyester (65%) and part organic cotton (35%). The recycled polyester is sourced from PET-bottles, second quality fabrics, and otherwise unusable fabric offcuts. Using those materials helps to reduce our use of raw materials, particularly of those from non-renewable sources. The organic cotton is produced without the use of chemical fertilisers. This benefits the people working with it in the production process and the environment in which it is grown as they are toxic for both. The production of chemical fertilisers also uses a lot of fossil fuels. Renouncing from using them means that the CO2 emissions from growing organic cotton are much lower than those from the production of non-organic cotton.
