The Gransfors Bruks Small Hatchet, is a great axe designed for hiking where every single kilo counts. It is the perfect size to be worn on a belt, in a rucksack or stored in a toolbox. Whilst being small, the small hatchet still has a mean bite with an edge that is shaving sharp straight out of the sheath. The slightly rounded poll is designed to act as a priest when fishing. More than capable of roughing out designs when carving spoons or cups, making the initial removal of excess wood that much easier and quicker than using a knife. The Small Hatchet was designed by Lennart Pettersson (LP), axe smith, knife smith and keen angler. Length: 26 cm Weight: 0.3 kg
