The Naomi Expedition jacket is an homage to Japanese adventurer Naomi Uemura who joined an expedition to Mount Everest, sponsored by Tenson, in 1981. The day after his 43rd birthday, Naomi Uemura disappeared while attempting to climb Denali in winter, and he will always be remembered as the solo adventurer. In spring of 2022 - for the first time in 35 years (1987), The Swedish Outdoor Brand returned to reach the summit of Mount Everest!
