The Women's Skala Cardigan is a high quality knitwear garment from Dale of Norway incorporating traditional Nordic Designs. The Cardigan features a long V-neckline with buttons down the front, the buttons are made from 50% recycled paper. The Cardigan features ribbed cuffs that fit snugly around the wrists and has a V-neckline. Thanks to the full-length button placket, you can wear it open or closed.

The natural wool fabric makes it breathable and extremely comfortable to wear. A great statment piece matched with jeans or leggings, traditional Nordic patterns in a modern style.

The cardigan takes its name from the Skåla mountain, which is also called "Norway's longest uphill climb". The Skala cardigan is made with a double bed jacquard technique, high rib details and soft lightweight wool for comfort.

100% Lightweight wool. Machine wash on wool cycle.

A relaxed fit with straight sleeves and a V-neck.

Dale of Norway aim to generate very little waste fabric, only 1-2%, as opposed to cut & sew where more than 20% waste fabric is common. Not only does this substantially reduce the consumption of raw materials, but it also leads to a corresponding reduction in wool and yarn to be processed and transported. The Dale factory has been powered by local Bergsdal river for over 140 years.

Wool is a 100% natural and renewable fibre with quite a few unique properties:

Wool can refresh itself simply by hanging in fresh air. Fewer washing cycles saves laundry detergent and energy – and prolongs the lifespan of the garment.

Wool is washed on lower temperatures or even hand washed, saving laundry detergent and energy.

High-quality wool garments have longer lifespan than other garments. Research has proved wool garment to be used twice as long as garments made of cotton.

High-quality wool garments are reused and recycled more often than other garments.
