First introduced in 1995 after 17 prototype iterations by founders Bo and Renate Hilleberg, the Akto became an instant classic, setting new standards for lightweight, all-season solo shelters.

This special edition maintains all the trusted features of the standard Akto whilst incorporating nostalgic design elements that pay homage to its heritage. The classic lighter green fabric recalls the original colour scheme, whilst sustainably sourced genuine leather patches - once standard on all Hilleberg tents - add authentic vintage appeal. Each tent features a specially designed 30-year anniversary logo patch sewn into both the outer tent and tent bag, with an additional removable patch and full-colour sticker included for gear enthusiasts who want to display their appreciation beyond the trail.

The Akto's innovative single-pole construction remains at the heart of this anniversary model, delivering the same lightweight efficiency that made it revolutionary upon release.
