The Blunt Neo Umbrella brings the renowned BLUNT engineering philosophy into a compact, everyday format. Designed in New Zealand and built to withstand the elements, the Neo features BLUNT's patented Radial Tensioning System (RTS) that distributes force evenly across the canopy, eliminating weak points and exposed tips found on conventional umbrellas. Lightweight and portable, the Blunt Neo is the ideal companion for commuters, hikers, and anyone who refuses to compromise on quality.

description

If you've ever watched a cheap umbrella turn inside out at the first hint of a crosswind, you'll understand exactly why BLUNT exists. Founded in New Zealand — a country that knows a thing or two about hostile weather — BLUNT set out to completely rethink umbrella design from the ground up. The Blunt Neo is the result of that mission: a compact, high-performance umbrella that refuses to buckle when conditions turn nasty.

At the heart of every BLUNT umbrella lies the patented Radial Tensioning System. Unlike traditional umbrellas where stress concentrates at the tip of each rib, RTS distributes tension evenly across the entire canopy surface. The Neo sits within BLUNT's more compact range, making it an excellent choice for daily commutes, travel, and stowing in a daypack or messenger bag. Despite its portable dimensions, it delivers impressive canopy coverage — enough to keep you genuinely dry rather than offering token protection. The opening mechanism is smooth and reliable, designed for thousands of cycles without failure.

Everywhere you go

Built without compromise

Everywhere you go. Built without compromise.

Over 30% smaller when collapsed than the Metro, Neo delivers the same high-tensioned canopy, wind-tested construction, and recycled rPET fabric. It's also the first in Blunt's core range line up to have UPF 50+ rated fabric, meaning you're covered in both rain and shine.

Made to be modular

Each BLUNT Umbrella is made up of four primary modular components – the canopy, frame, shaft and handle. This thoughtful and innovative design allows for easy repair and maintenance.

Canopy

The canopy is threaded to the frame for a secure, lasting connection. When repair or replacement is needed, it can be carefully removed and refitted.
