Named after the Icelandic word for Glacier the Jokla parka is designed to withstand the most extreme conditions mother nature can throw at you. Constructed from an extremely durable Cordura fabric and waterproof up to 9,000mm with taped seams this 800 fill down parka features a down trim on the hood to keep the cold at bay while trapping warmth inside the parka. Unisex sizing means the parka is designed to be worn with a base-layer and mid-layer during outdoor activity and features a slightly longer cut than normal parkas. With industry leading weather resistance and 15 pockets to hold all your essentials this is a serious wardrobe upgrade for the Winter months.

This Parka is respected by guides, explorers, researchers, and film crews as one of the world’s best parkas. Named after the Icelandic word for glacier the Jokla can withstand extreme cold and stormy conditions and has been updates over the years to meet the demanding standards out outdoor guides.

66 North uses recycled, upcycled, biodegradable, or organic natural fibers. However, function, necessity, and longevity come first. 66 North would rather make a garment that lasts for a decade rather than one which is slightly more “sustainable” in the short term but has material which will break down and lead to waste after two or three years. 66 North have been a carbon offset business since 2019.

At 66ºNorth all their down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) for animal welfare, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® which is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials.
