Didriksons Thelma Parka 8 has been a main stay of the Brands winter range for 15 years now. This Parka is fully waterproof and windproof, with taped seams in an iconic Didriksons style. This classic parka is now made of a recycled, heavier, woven nylon fabric with a Matt finish giving the jacket a tough durable feel. A great reliable Parka that will happily take anything winter may bring.

It has a feminine look, highlighted by the drawstring waist and hem. Snap fasteners for adjusting the cuff width. The hood is fixed and offers two types of adjustment. Thelma has a two-way zip front for good ventilation with a protective storm flap and discreet fasteners. Two buttoned front pockets with side openings and two zipped breast pockets. Two inside pockets, one zipped. The lining has been dyed using Solution Dye, a dye technique that saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed polyester/polyamide fabric. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

They achieve this by means of timeless design, careful choice of colours, long-term relationships with customers and producers, environmental protection programmes and sustainability projects to help them constantly develop and improve. Didriksons use sustainable materials and dyeing processes and PFC-free impregnation treatments. Since 2018 several of our waterproof garments have been made from recyclable polyester. We promote the use of single component rather than mixed materials in order to facilitate future recycling processes.

Polyester can be recycled endlessly in a circular recycling system without lowering the quality. By offering both recycled and recyclable products, they have come close to the goal of offering maximum experiences with minimal environmental impact. Production of polyester, especially recycled polyester, require less water to produce than many other fibres.
