The Fjällräven Kånken No. 2 Laptop 15” is a Kånken backpack in G-1000 HeavyDuty with a padded computer compartment and leather handles and details. It is a practical everyday backpack, for school, work outings or when travelling, with excellent longevity that has a padded seat pad and comfortable padded shoulder straps.

The main compartment has a generous opening that makes it easy to pack and unpack. A separate, padded compartment with a zipper provides safe storage for a laptop computer (up to 15”).

Inside the backpack there is a back pocket with a padded seat pad in G-1000 HeavyDuty – easy to take out when you need to take a break. In addition, there are two open pockets on the sides and a zippered pocket on the front.

The details and handles are made in leather, and the padded shoulder straps adds extra comfort when carrying a heavy load. Impregnation can be easily enhanced with Greenland Wax, something that also further increases durability.

When considering a material Fjallraven will evaluate its efficiency, functional qualities, chemical composition and the amount they’ll need before making a choice. Fjallraven use a Preferred Materials And Fibres List that grades materials in terms of their impact on the environment. And this list is constantly updated, reflecting new research and new materials. In 2012 Fjallraven decided to switch to fluorocarbon-free impregnation throughout its full product range.

G-1000 is Fjallraven’s cornerstone material, made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Fjallraven use it in everything from backpacks to jackets and trousers. It’s a densely woven fabric made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton and, by using Greenland Wax, it’s adaptable to a whole variety of different climactic conditions. So, with the right care this durable fabric will last for ages and join you on all kinds of adventures. The longer a garment lasts the more sustainable it becomes.
