Sustainability Credentials:

TENCEL™ TreeBlend is made from 45% Recycled Polyester, 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell, 25% Organic Cotton. The TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are sourced from wood pulp from trees grown in sustainably managed forests. In the production process of these fibres 99% of the chemicals and water are reused. This keeps the environmental impact to a minimum and also prevents resource contamination. Organic cotton is grown without any chemical fertilisers. This is kinder to the environment and the people handling the cotton throughout the production process. Cotton is a natural, renewable, and fully biodegradable material. Recycling polyester gives purpose to what would otherwise be waste in our landfills. It also reduces the amount of non-renewable raw materials consumed. Tentree have also made a commitment to planting ten trees for every single purchase made. Tree planting takes place in carefully selected locations worldwide to ensure maximum benefit for local communities and the environment.
