Kastel
Formed in 2011 Kastel was a reaction to two footwear enthusiasts who were tired of wearing sneakers designed for warmer climates. Looking to create something which suited their environment better they stepped away from the traditional sneaker construction of canvas and suede and instead created a product that showcased a Nordic sense of aesthetic and function.
To do this the founders relaunched one of their favourite sneaker brands from their youth - Kastel. Originally from California the brands Nordic rebirth has seen it become a market leader in outdoor ready footwear with style. Kastel stays true to the principals of clean, no-nonsense Scandinavian design and continues to collaborate with creative partners from New York to Milan.
