Vicuna Alpaca Mid Hiker Socks
The Vicuna Mid Hiker are a shorter version of the original Vicuna Alpaca Hiker socks and are made with luxurious Alpaca wool. Alpacas live in altitudes ranging from 2500 to over 4500 metres and temperatures can change in one day between +30 to -20 degrees. To survive these conditions, Alpacas have developed natural fibres which have unique properties due to microscopic air pockets found within. These pockets allow breathability in warm temperatures and can trap body heat in cold weather. So not only are these socks super soft to the skin, they will keep you protected wherever you are adventuring to.
Alpaca fibres are extremely fine making these socks soft and comfortable. They are an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin, as Alpaca wool contains no lanolin, making it hypoallergenic.
